Earlier source notes
These notes were based on information such as video titles available when written, not a review of the full videos. Counts may differ from current totals. Check the shop’s own menus, prices and hours before visiting.
About this place
Eleven of the 12 videos put takoyaki in the title or hashtags. The only other dish to make it into a title was negiyaki, in a single video. Seven mention Dotonbori alongside it, and four bundle it into one video with other nearby shops like Pablo or Kushikatsu Daruma. Just one went as far as the batter or the size of the octopus.
Good for
- A walk through Dotonbori with quick stops at three or four shops
- When you already have another Dotonbori stop like Pablo or Don Quijote on your route
- When you want to try takoyaki once but haven't picked a place yet
Before you go
- Going there for anything other than takoyaki
- A plan to sit down at one place and finish a full meal
