Privacy policy
This policy explains how GOGO Place handles information and how to exercise your rights. No account is needed to browse or save places.
Saved places
Your current browser stores up to 200 saved places, including names, addresses, links, categories and save dates. The list is not automatically sent to our servers or other devices.
Unsave a place or clear this site's browser data to delete it. Browser settings may prevent the list from being kept. Copying or sharing transfers the information you choose.
Requests and corrections
We keep the message, request type, affected page, language, submission time and receipt number to handle requests and correct information. We do not ask separately for a name or reply email, but anything you write in the message is also stored. Do not include private contact details or sensitive information.
Only authorised staff can read requests; they are not public. Search conditions in the affected page's URL are not stored. Using a separate email or external form may also send your address or message to that provider.
Location used for nearby search
Nearby search requests your location once, only after you read the explanation and agree. Coordinates and positioning accuracy are used for distance and accuracy information on this screen, without being stored or sent to our servers or external maps. You can still search destinations if you refuse permission.
The location is cleared when you stop using it, leave the page or hide the tab. Browser permission can be turned off separately in site settings. Your browser and operating system apply their own policies when determining location.
Opening Google directions sends only the destination place. Any use of your current location on that external map follows its settings.
Place information and public sources
We collect public links, titles, channel names and identifiers, publication dates, view counts, place addresses and verification records to provide place information. We do not connect visitors' private YouTube accounts or viewing histories. You may request correction or removal of displayed public channel information.
Search terms and selected filters may appear in page URLs and be shared with a link. Do not enter personal information in search fields.
External services and service providers
Our service providers include Supabase for request storage and administrator authentication, and Vercel for website hosting.
We load video images from YouTube and maps from Google Maps. Fonts are served from this site. These providers may receive your IP address and browser information. Google maps also receive the place name, address, published place coordinates, selected city and site domain. External maps, videos and original pages are subject to their providers' privacy and cookie policies.
Service protection and usage statistics
Access and error records may be processed to investigate problems and prevent abuse. Connection information used to limit abusive requests is processed temporarily, not stored with messages. Administrator sign-in uses an email address and password; sign-in cookies are deleted on expiry or sign-out.
We use search and AI bot request counts and aggregated Google search-query statistics to improve the service. These statistics contain no individual IP addresses or browsing histories. We currently use no visitor-behaviour analytics or advertising trackers. Hosting and external providers' access logs are separate.
Retention and deletion requests
Saved places remain in your browser until you delete them. Submitted requests do not currently expire automatically. Keep your receipt number and use the contact channel below to request access, correction or deletion. Removing an external original may also require contacting its publisher.
Retention periods for access and authentication records, international processing details and privacy contact information are still being confirmed. This page will be updated when they are established.
